hi all
i've been a happy xpan owner for a couple years and cam always operated perfectly. when i put in my last roll of film and looked through the vf, i saw to my chagrin that the RF patch had moved from its perfectly cenetered position to the very upper part of the frame, just a tad below the upper frame line. it still seemed to work, responding to focusing ring of both lenses, but ive not developed the film, so cant vouch for focusing accuracy. it remained there throughout shooting the roll and after i rewound and removed the roll.

does anyone know why this haapened and if it can be easily fixed?
thanks!
tony

Sounds like the rangefinder mechanism got knocked. Try this:
1. Lift out the viewfinder dioptre eyepiece. It lifts out in an upward direction.
2. You will see a magnifying lens which slides to the left to reveal another stronger lens. You can move it with your fingers. It springs back when you let go. Normally the 45 and 90mm lenses automatically select which of the two magnifiers slide into place. Check to see if this mechanism is working.

If the above works, and your framelines are still in the wrong position then it sounds like you need a CLA.
