Although I didn't need another camera, I bought a Zorki S from '57 with collapsible industar 22.
As the package from the Ukraine arrived I was surprised how small the camera looked. And so do the numbers on the speeddial and the aperture ring, but perhaps I just need reading glasses. And small is the viewfinder, almost as bad as a DSLR, magnification about 0.5, but very bright. The rangefinder is life size.
The takeup spool didn't get out easily the first time. As I did mange it finally, I saw I had disambled the camera. With help of information on the internet I could put it together.
With a useless film I tried to load the camera. After cutting the leader, loading the camera was very easy. After two times exercising, I took a film for real use. But that time it didn't go that easy.
To appreciate the ergonomics of the camera you need to take it out of the everreadycase. It just feels great in my hands and I think that is partly because there is no removable back, no self timer and no strap lugs.
The first roll of film went through and perhaps tomorrow I'll get the results.
Some questions:
What is the best way of cutting the film leader? Estimating 22mm and counting sprocket holes? Getting or making a template and cutting with a hobby knife?
What size of filters can be used? There are A36 slip-on filters. (Btw does A stand for ‘Aufsteck’?) With a slip-on filter you can't change the aperture. Are there other filters that will work?.

congrats on the new acquisition. I'm sure you'll enjoy. Many FSUs come in need of a good cleaning, so a sticky film spool is no surprise. One thing about the grease-turned-gunk... it's helped preserve most of the parts. Once cleaned and new lube is added, they work nicely.
Yep, check out the LTM forum for film loading help. (Though I rarely cut leaders for my Zorki.1s.) But, don't worry, it gets easier in a very short time and becomes no big deal. I personally prefer bottom loaders.
Also, I use a homemade slip on hood/filter adapter so I can share my 40.5mm filters with collapsibles, but others will come along with some help on your filter question.
