Well-known
I opted in for a Capture One upgrade to version 6.2, and am very impressed by the new software.
I see a lot of benefits in the new version, such as:
- improved JPG rendering on the output (finer details)
- good support of loading an existing (in-camera developed) JPG image. Before I did not get lossless imports as far as I saw.
- Very nice B&W conversion tools with separate sliders per color
- The new 'HDR' rendering capability that can help turn a 'wrongly' exposed picture into something useful. Specifically I like it for B&W images.
Of course there are a lot of 'advertised' capabilities, but ones like the above really make my day.
