I'm looking for a decent lanyard neck strap for a few point and shoot film cameras I have (I don't like wrist straps). Do any of the boutique or proper camera companies make lanyard style neck straps? or am I stuck buying the cheap stuff?

Have you looked at UpStrap? Or Gordy's Camera Straps?
Yes, the gordy is ok (but a bit rough), but not into the upstrap.

Are you looking for something more finished leather? Is it feeling secure that the strap you are using (clasp, rope, material) will not have your camera testing gravity? What are your driving factors in the purchase?

I don't use it for a camera, but the Stylus Epic landyard is nice. I use it with my VCII meter.

It needs to be sturdy, comfortable, and look good (yeah, I know... a bit shallow huh?). For my Ms I like to use the Artisan & Artist leather stuff. I find them to be perfect for me.

This is better... thanks for the tip.
