When re-setting the film counter dial on my MIR, which way should I turn it? I haven't used it in a while, and I've forgotten. Or does it matter?
Also, does this also apply to other FSU cameras, or are they all different as to the direction you turn the film counter?
Thanks to all who reply.
With best regards,

I don't own a Mir, but on the Zorki 4K, it appears you can turn it either way.
The Fed 2, incidentally, has a totally different film counter, but that can be turned either way as well.

Try this link. It's a really handy pictorial on how to load a bottom loader, and toward the end he mentions which way to turn the film dial. Good stuff.
