I don't know how to change my shutter speed below B. It won't turn past the B, no matter what the aperture setting is.
Never needed to go into the seconds before now. So what am I missing?

I had the same issue, but can't for the life of me remember how you "fix" it. I'm only here to say: there is hope. Good luck.

It is simple - there are no shutter speeds longer than 1 sec, so the longer speeds are for reference only, and you have to use the B setting and count the seconds.

Those are not speeds that are timed by the camera. They just show what the shutter speed should be in certain situations. For example, at EV6, f2.8@1/8sec is a possible combination, but so is f22@8sec, as indicated by those numbers below B. It's up to you though to time them, using the B setting.
