A lady at work gave me this camera day before yesterday, a Topcon Auto 100:

The camera is pretty clean, and it seems to function. However, she said that the camera came to her without the battery cover.

I looked in the manual online and it appears to be a black plastic cover, or so it looks when I squint hard at tiny half-toned black and white photos. Does anyone know where I could find one? I hope these things came in some standard sizes, so I might perhaps find one on a scrap camera somewhere.
Oh, the camera came with an extra UV Topcor 35mm f3.5 lens, but its rear element is too long and fouls the mirror when I try to take a picture. I can't believe that this was normal when this camera was new, so I've got to figure out what's wrong.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Scott

Wow, is this really such an oddball camera that nobody has any pointers? Please, if you can help I would be deeply appreciative.
Thanks,
Scott
