Dear master craftsmen out there,
Please advise on repairing my Rollei35S stuck focus! I accidentally press the lens and the focus got stuck. I want to take it apart to repair.
I saw some old PDF repair manual, but the resolution is too low and its in German, couldn't provide any useful information.
Question is, do I have to take out the lens element from internal?
Please help!

Can you explain what you mean by "the focus got stuck"? Do you mean you can no longer rotate the front of the lens to change the focus distance?
Does the lens collapse and extend normally?
This thread at pnet explains how to remove the top plate, but I don't think you need to do that. I expect you need to disassemble the focus mechanism to see whats up with it. I think that's possible by removing the lens front plate with the serial number on it. Its just glued on so you can pry it off with a toothpick in the two grooves on the inside diameter. Underneath the plate you'll find three screws. From there, I don't know. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

Thanks for the hint! The lens can collapse and extend normally, the part about the front plate is the piece of info I need! However I am having trouble of prying it off, still trying now

Regarding the grooves, I took the front plate off the Sonnar lens on a Rollei 35SE recently, and there were two small grooves on the underside of the front plate which made it easier to get something under the plate to pry it off. The 35SE is a later model so perhaps the grooves are a modification which date later than your camera. Not a problem though as you still managed to fix your camera. Well done!
