Hi everyone,
I’m currently trying to sort out a vertical misalignment issue on my Canon VI L rangefinder (the mechanism is quite similar to other Canon models, like the P). I’ve already tried turning the front external lens, which should normally handle the vertical correction, but the secondary image still sits slightly below the main one. It gets very close to being aligned, but never perfectly matches.

I went a bit further and removed the top cover to check the mechanism underneath, but I’m unsure which of the three pivot screws on the mirror assembly actually controls the vertical adjustment — tweaking them doesn’t seem to change much.

If anyone has experience with this specific adjustment or knows the proper screw to target, I’d love to hear your suggestions.

Thanks in advance!
