Hi to all!
Are there any difference between all time Neopan's(400, 1600) and Presto(400) & Super-presto(1600)?
And between, Acros & fuji SS?

Many thanks guys!

I don't know personally, but I am sure SS and Acros are different.

I can personally say that European Neopan 400 is Presto and Neopan 1600 is Super-Presto.

Try Megaperls, that's where I got my Presto goodness from.

I have a few rolls of SS i don't test ot yet..it's the only Fuji's option here in Spain:(

I know this place kully...it's a greaaat website!(asap i'll make an big order!)

Yes Presto is Neopan 400 & Super Presto is Neopan 1600. Fuji SS 100 and Acros 100 are different. SS is a traditional-type film (like FP4) and Acros is a very fine grain B&W film.

Yep. The Japanese market "needed" different names.. hearing a Japanese person say "supera pres-a-two" is reason enough. Super presto is an amazing film which to me was almost indistinguishable from the presto. But importantly the Presto pushes well to 1600 as well. Megaperls is the go.

Just don't forget to take the '1600' with a large pinch of salt as this is really a 400 film that gives less shadow detail than Tri-X. Not saying it's not a nice film -- it is -- but any ideas that it is particularly fast are misplaced. For real speed try Delta 3200 or TMZ.

Rich that SS has a wonderful old-time look. It is the only Fuji film I haven't shot, looks like I'll have to try some now.

And I really like the Acros and the NP1600 shot. The Acros/Hasselblad shots are stunning! Thanks for posting these links Rich!
