Neutral «0» diopter for Minolta Konica RF : HELP!

Help! I lost the 0 diopter for my Konica Hexar RF. I remember reading somewhere that a Chinese maker was producing replicas, but I can’t seem to find the site anymore.


Does anyone know where to get one? Or maybe a good workaround? This isn’t exactly aerospace technology — it should be possible to have one made without it costing an arm and a leg.
 
Now granted I have access to a machine shop from when I used to service motion picture cameras, but you can make diopters out of cheap reading glasses (ones with plastic lenses, what we call "cheaters"). Just buy a set that fits your sight needs, then pop out one of the lenses, cut it or file it so it fits the back of your camera viewfinder, and tape it on. Not elegant, but it works.

Below is one I made for a Canon 110 camera, works great.

Thank you for the advice. It should be possible to have the exact part made without needing NASA-level engineering, right? Do you know who might be able to make something like this?
 
I don't know who specifically to recommend, but it might be something you can do yourself with a razor saw and a file. Just work the shape slowly, cutting and filing away material, until the plastic "cheater" lens fits up against the viewfinder window on your camera.

The Nikon FM eyepiece ring was used by other brands, such as the Fuji GS645S. It's a longshot, but that may work for you on the Konica. I have one in my spares box; if you're in the US, drop me a DM with your address and I'll get it out in the mail to you.
