I thought this was intriguing. Costs more than a used 40mm Summicron-C, though, even if you already have a broken Minilux.

How good is the Minilux lens, and does it offer enough difference in characteristics compared to the 40mm Summicron-C? I like my M-Rokkor CLE for its classic rendition, but I also liked the lens on the Leica Mini when I had one which had a slightly different look. This looks tempting but it could just be GAS talking.

Im on my third replacement adapter now. They dont work. Focus is completely bonkers on each adapter. I think its wrongly calculated. I tried with 3 different Minilux lens groups on 3 different cameras and i cant get them sharp.

This doesnt sound good at all. I have the adapter but havent found a camera to use for parts yet so it remains untested in its box. What has MGR had to say about the adapters not working?

At another thread, another forum one person pointed to the similar comment on the linked in OP page.
