I wanted to let you know of something that might be of interest to you and the rangefinderforum family. I have been working with a new, small press in Miami that is publishing a book of my Dad's photos from the early 1960s scene in Provincetown Mass. The ad is posted here on his blog. The book comes out next month.

Very cool project. I miss Al. I also miss that Basque guy with the million faces. What a book that would make!

Al was always straight to the point with me when looking at my photos. He did not mince words. I really appreciated it. He was never mean spirited and always had some weird stories to tell me. A unique guy. Can't wait to get my hands on this book.

Awesome news….. I still remember the day that I had the privilege to sit down with Al at his favorite diner in South Florida and have a nice chat with him. He was such an interesting guy and talented photographer filled with amazing stories. I definitely miss him and will be purchasing this book.

Cheers, michael
