Well-known
Hi, can someone clarify for me the difference(s), if any, between the "old" Plus-X Pan (PXP I believe) and newer emulsion PX (I believe)?
I'm mainly interested in how each film handles shadow detail, sharpness/grain characteristics, and what speed to shoot it with development in DIAFINE.
Simplistic version: Is the old film better or worse than the new?
A BIG THANKS in advance,
---Yaron

I don't know the answer to your question, but I like the look of the new emulsion. Here's a bump for your quest.

While ur trying to decide...perhaps it is time to make some room in ur freezer. Don't you have a bag of frozen peas that has been in there just a little too long?
I worry that Plus-X may be on its death bed. I hope not...but it might be an idea to LOAD UP!

Could you amplify a bit? What is is about the new PX that you like over the old?
I'm getting ready to buy some bulk film and I'm gathering info.
