Hi. I am moving on from lurking to posting, in celebration of finally getting a Bessa R3a, with the 40mm lens.
Ordered yesterday, 1030am, arrived today 0830am, film processed by 1145am, scanned by 1430pm, and one image uploaded to gallery by 1450pm. A few off focus, but pleased with the roll.
Inital impressions, like very much, rather easy to use, very slick in operation, easy to carry, compared to DSLR.
Been a long wait, but pleased to be here .

I have the R, and it has been real joy. No problem loading, good rangefinder, good meter, light and small, the only thing is the shutter speed dial placement is a little too cramped.

Welcome to the dark ages of photography. It's a lot of fun over here. Great choice in cameras and lenses, it's a wonderful combination.
