I just picked up this lens and so far I love it. The build quality is outstanding and the focus ring is perfectly smooth, and I was pretty impressed with how close it focuses too. Below is one of my first test shots, it was taken at F/2.8 hand held in a pretty dimly lit room with a Nikon D5100.

does the aperture move in full stops or half stops?

I seem to remember that I had the same stops as on my X2, which would be thirds. I will check tomorrow when I'm back at work.

Full stops on the Nikon version. Of course if you use it on a modern SLR you can set it at f/22 and control the aperture in 1/3-stops on the camera itself.

I have the 40mm ultron and 58mm Nokton for my Nikons and I love them!
