ok i promise to stop fawning over my gear and actually start using it in this new year.
i also promise to stop posting incessantly about my new stuff.
it's kinda like new parents or grandparents with pics of the kids, it's just so hard to stop cause they're so damn cute.

You have a well-read and fine-looking family there, Joe! I guess the Bessa R is the black sheep and not worthy of inclusion in the photo?

the bessa is just another branch of the family frank.
this is the canon branch, though they do seem to be taking over.

New year's resolution: I want a P.
My 2005 resolution: I am going to end 2005 with less cameras than I have starting it.

jeroen, excellent resolution. let me know if i can be of assistance.
brian, i want numbers!
'...with less than' is too vague.
down by one, 2 or ten?
with your extensive collection, a couple less cameras would hardly be noticed.

FEWER cameras than before... what a concept! It'll take a while to absorb that..

Excellent Jeroen. Resistance is futile. You all will be asimilated.
Brian, you're not saying how many you'll be acquiring in the process but selling BEFORE 2005 ends
Joe, that's indeed a beautiful literature and camera family. But no Canon collection is done without THE CANON LENS par excellence, something faster than any Leica on this planet...
...Brian, what did you put on my coffee !?

Nice family, joe!
I think I'm going to have to stop looking at any of the canon threads. I thought my camera jones was under control but like any other addict I was fooling myself.
At least if I decide to find one of these beasties, it'll take me a while to save my nickles(so I can keep shooting the G-III).
Maybe a B-day present to myself.
Let's see... if I don't buy the next oh, ten or fifteen FSU cameras..... then I might get 1 good P or 7s....
Oh NO the gear freak in me is getting stronger! RATS
Rob, I'm going to take a cold shower now and try to get better.
don't hold your breath, anyone.
