New feature request

When replying to a post you currently only get a small box to enter your reply in - and it's impossible to attach a photo when using that box (unless you just attach a link).

The 'work around' currently is to reply and then immediately go back and EDIT your reply so that you get to the 'full featured window' where you now can attach a photo to your post.

Would it be possible to put the feature of attaching an image already on the first screen?

Looky here!

Looky here!

Robert, you can also attach an image when you click on the "post reply" button in the lower part of the frame, to the right.
I found it after remarking that it couldn't be done... only to find that Doug did post an image to reply to my thread on candids.

See here? Look now!

francisco,
just 'how' do you do it?
when i hit the image button and put in the link, all you see is the link in the post but not the photo.

I'm glad!!! There's a certain beauty in that Jorge made this site able to get images uploaded. It makes your life a lot easier. If it wasn't like this, I'd have to post my images somewhere else, showing then a very weird gallery/portfolio to the people who only may see the other site. This way, if I don't have shots to upload in phototalk.net but want to share them with you, there's no double task. I just upload them and we talk!

Actually, the forum at phototalk has a similar feature. I guess the folks at popphoto didn't want to deal with too big a server...

Success !
Please ignore the request for a change this works great :)

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks Lars.

It was one of those 'snaps' that turned out quite well.
I was taking photos of a fellow photographer (she wanted photos of her using her Hasselblad (she's a wedding photographer)) and at one point she was laughing about something and I just kept shooting :)

Here is a more 'serious' one:

(Ok, I've used up enough disk space now... Sorry :)).

I find the extremely shallow depth of field to be very appealing. You must've been shooting medium format, eh?

Guilty as charged... MF it is.
There's a number of MF cameras in the household now.. Lubitel, Holga, Mamiya 6, Brownie Hawkeye, Hasselblad, etc... Not a huge fan of digital cameras.

Lately I've been on a RF-spree using (borrowing) my wife's Mamiya 6 and my own Olympus 35SP (which is an amazing camera). Come to think of it...it's 9:10am and I'm heading out in an hour for some photo-snapping... Gotta pick a camera...

Here's another Hasselblad user shooting an old doorknob, himself shot with my Bessa-L with 15mm f/4.5 Super-Wide Heliar.:D
