I hope so. The slow formatting is such a pain. And having a higher quality image preview would be nice. The LCD is no comparison to the image once seen on a computer.

Link isn't working but some fixes, though I am happy, even with the image quality on the LCD since I in interpret what is going on, some fixes are always a plus.
Formatting and everything else is only a plus.
I have noticed that with no change, the batter life on mine has improved quite a bit. Don't know why. Even the brand new battery I charged yesterday after I received it from B&H, is holding a great charge with the camera turned on and plenty of image viewing. I feel lucky to have gotten another battery with the shortage but I see now B & H is already out of them.
edit: One fix that would be nice, faster write time. That is the only thing on an expensive camera like this that should not be, the very slow write time.

Mmmmh, I don't have many problems on the M8 software, but hey, a free update for the sake of an update, why not 😀
