Last week I ordered an Aki Ashi Skin for my x100.
I chose Navy Blue Crinkle Cowhide. It looks and feels great.
the silver body has new appeal with this dark blue skin. I like it more than black on black after seeing it "live".
Instal was a 15 minute job after watching the video they Posted on Youtube..
They even sent me a spare skin in Red to "practice instal". It's a new red skin. I'm offering it here for the price of a flat rate small box $6 (within US).
First taker gets it. Send me a PM. Yes a free Aki Ashi skin for your x100.

Pretty awesome look. It reminds me of a re-skin I did on my 35RD...

I likey
Blue is great with silver cameras. I like Navy in particular.
That little Olympus is a great camera too.
Cheers!
BTW the skin is gone.

Beautiful! Between my Nikons, Bessas and my new (to me) Leica, I found the X100's plastic covering a bit lacking in terms of haptics. it never seemed to match how solid the rest of the camera felt. How rubber-y does it feel/

It feels like leather really.
The texture is perfect for a camera grip. Just grippy and soft but not sticky like plastic or vinyl can be.
The color actually usually looks darker than the photo I posted. If the light hits right the blue is quite striking otherwise it's not easy to see it's not black without giving a second look!
