The title says it all. There are new ORWO films, allegedly produced at the original OrWO site in Wolfen, Germany.
whar do you folks think? Again rebadged old stock or really something new? New films are always positive, I might bite the bullet and order some (I hope it is not an emulsion on an ultra thin layer).
It is available at orwo.shop
The homepage is a bit directed towards the „cool kids“ but who am I to judge...

Think it's limited to 36,000 rolls. Probably just one master roll. I've never shot Orwo, but have 500' of their iso 100 in the fridge. Probably get to it next year.

I have just contacted Filmotec.de directly to order some UN54 although they also sell 30,5m bulk of UN54 also on the new ORWO shop site. I will see if the price is different from the new shop...

Looks like a new stock, no? They already have a 100 ISO stock (UN54) and this new one is not that.

I believe ORWO and Innoviscoat (former Agfa) merged so expect more from them. Don't quote me on it but I also think Innoviscoat was the one making all the weird LOMO films, so expect color film from them too. Innoviscoat was previously just a for hire coater from what I understand, but with ORWO they now together are the whole deal.
I'm looking forward to the next year.
They also have a new 400 speed black and white film coming. I wonder if it is a successor to N74/n75. They no longer list any other motion picture film besides n54.

Ha, ha, one could purchase a 2000' bulk roll and really save! Hmm, that's giving me some ideas ...

I hope the limited run is not just a proof of concept but rather something to test the market. The world is in dire need of film, be it a new product or good old TriX

When it’s proven it’s actually new film I’d be more inclined to pay attention

Contacted Filmotec directly by email last week but received no reply
Received an email that orwo.shop had just opened
Just bought from them 1 roll of the wolfen 100 to test and a bulk 30,5m roll of UN54.
They have switched shipping to Hermes so for those of us Europe-based shipping is more economical this way
Best regards

The forum software seems to have automatically censored the "offending" text in the url, breaking the link. If you replace the asterisks (which render in the broken url as %2A%2A%2A) with lowercase w, t, and f the link should work.
