I received "In Sunshine and In Shadow" a few days ago and slowly went through it.
From his previous zines I was aware of the good eye of Colton, I knew the accuracy of his framing and his ability to see and combine nice pastel colours in his photography.
But I was curious how his work with a 6x6 Rolleiflex and B&W film was.
No colours but good range of B&W tones and still a good way to frame the squared 6x6 format. Love the variety of subject, graphic, close up, streets, cars and houses, what I call urban landscape are present in his thirty photos.
I can see the "eye" of Colton in this photos of which my favorite is the first one, dreamy and real in the same time with those little people in the background.
Well done Colton

Looking at the Preview, Colton, I was thinking that the images look similar to your earlier work, but some seem a lot different.
Congratulations!
Congratulations!

Your photozine arrived Thursday, Colton, but I waited until today to open it as it would be something to do after cleaning the snow off the vehicle.
They were all great selections, and prove you are as adept shooting in b&w as in color. Never should have been a worry on your part about that.
Keep on rolling.

I received my ZINE about a week ago. I put it on the coffee table and my wife really likes it. I like it too, but she never says anything about my photos.

Uh oh... I certainly don't want to be the source of any domestic issues
