Hi all,
I pretty much only post on photo stuff here, fitting I guess given the topic, but since this is one of the best communities in which I am involved on the internet, I thought I'd share my most recent project, which just rolled out on kickstarter today:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1451991082/bicycle-astronomy
It's called Bicycle Astronomy, and the idea is to pair the telescope with the cargo bicycle to create a series of public stargazing events that will inspire people with a window into the grandeur of the universe and also challenge them to consider more sustainable ways of being.
Though not photography related, the film I put together for it was very much a photo project, being mostly made up of time-lapse animations and sequences I've put together from observing nights I have done with the public.
Comments are welcome, as well as support. Check out the rewards, too, some pretty cool stuff. It's a non-profit effort so support is partially tax deductible.
I hope it's okay to post about this here, if not, sorry, please (re)move if so.
