Hello folks...
I was directed to this site from a former RD-1 owner Tom Conte. I was fortunate enough purchase his RD-1 he had up for sale. This is my first rangefinder and I am excited about the new possibilities with this camera. I was hoping I could gather some info from current owners on what lenses you would recommend to purchase. I am on a somewhat limited budget due to the purchase of the camera itself. Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks Bob I am very excited about this camera. Now I just need to purchase a lens which I think will be a Voigtlander 35mm PII. Tom recommended this lens and I think I will pick this one up.

Hi John,
I haven't used the 35 PII, but I have the 40mm Nokton and the 28mm f1.9 Ultron.
I find the Ultron excellent, but so far haven't been excited by the Nokton, and I'm thinking of goint to a 50 'cron instead.
