Sorry, I'm a little excited.
Bought this yesterday. The camera is a solid Ex, maybe better. Functions perfectly. The box and instructions are original to the camera and lens. The price tag in the box shows $217, which adjusted for the CPI would be just a hair under $1900 today. It's sort of a coincidence that my M3 is also a 1955 camera.

Congratulations. It looks to be excellent. A lovely camera. I use mine regularly. Beware the slippery slope though.

Wonderful! I just love those things. Mind you, get rid of that awful strap with all those buckles and snaps. They'll soon reduce the camera to "we'll used" state. Try Lance or Gordie for decent straps.

Congrats. Never owned one, but wanted to. Those buckles and snaps look like ingredients for disaster (or hari-kari).

Congratulations. Beautiful camera.
If the leather is still good, you can free the strap from the buckles with a Dremel and then replace them with simple split rings.
Erik.
