Just spotted this:
http://www.voigtlaender.de/cms/voigtlaender/voigtlaender_cms.nsf/id/pa_vm-e_close-focus-adapter.html
via DP Review's reporting.
What's interesting about the adapter is that it's got a focusing helicoid that can be used to, by the looks of this list:
http://www.voigtlaender.de/cms/voigtlaender/voigtlaender_cms.nsf/gfx/B8C87C465D2D8339C1257C0D002A6F9B/$file/Focussing_range_VM_E_close_focus_adapterr.pdf
effectively cut the minimum focus distance on most RF lenses almost in half. No more 90cm .. it's now 47cm.
I wonder if Sony's adapter will do the same.. regardless.. obviously there's keen interest in the e-mount at least from other manufacturers.
Cheers,
Dave
