I have been visiting an abandoned Fuji X-T1 at John Lewis found a year.
I don't need it, my X-Pro 1 suits me well, but I would like an SLR style format.
I found that it actually felt tangible to me, which is not often the case with an ASD glitch.

Having played with at a reduced £850 [in my dreams] using the battery from the X-Pro, I expected someone to rescue it, but it seems that JL are not on the Fuji radar.

At clearance today it dropped to a more affordable £550, but with further discounts for display model and lost charger [who needs it?] it was £427.
Expensive for a spare body and a marginally faster and longer standard lens!
I indulged merely because it felt comfortable and I am familiar with the EQ and Fuji quirks from the X-Pro 1. I understand that the focusing is improved, which is a bonus.

I have been blinkered by both this camera and the X-Pro1 which I handled at around £1400? before finally capturing a new body @ £168.
Now the X-Pro had little competition but £430 is a substantial sum post retirement.
I am now considering selling my semi retired Leica M8.

Mostly for architecture, I stick with the kit lenses with a 27mm for the Fuji and, plus the familiar 35mm for Sony A35 and Pentax KS-1.

What would any of YOU buy for around £430? Lenses mostly?

Having enjoyed an X-T1 for a fair few years now - and having felt no no need to upgrade to a newer-generation Fuji - the only thing I might have done differently from you is buy the X-T1 used and put the £100-or-so savings towards more glass, extra batteries, and/or the larger eyecup.

The X-T1 is a great camera. I doubt you'll regret your choice.

Agreed, ruby.monkey, I am a bit wary of used - I preferred to take advantage of one of the last new examples, although some shots of the shop are evident, so some customers have played with it.
I have a 'spare' battery with my X-Pro 1 LOL.
Sorry Schlapp - I don't do film any more since the end of post-paid reversal - so strictly amateur!
Thanks for the interest in my curiosity.

For that amount of cash you could get a used X-T20 which is a next gen body - basically a slightly less well built X-T2. The improvements in all aspects are visible, which might help in justifing your GAS.
