Came across this hands-on with the X100.

Looks good to me, but I'm not a pixel peeper.

Not at high ISO though, one is taken at 640 the others at 400.

Additional high ISO photos were just posted. This one is interesting to me:
"the cat street"
Upper Lascar Row, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
FujiFilm FinePix X100
1/27s f/8.0 at 23.0mm iso3200
However all these are down sized for web display. I feel the only take-home message is here's set of encouraging results from a yet another source.

I'm seeing ISO 1250.

There is a mix. Most are at 400, but there are a few at 1250 and at least one at 3200.

I see now that the one labeled "yesterday once more..." also says "cat street" when looking at full size is, indeed, 3200. I was confused as one of the thumbs is labeled "cat street", and that one is 1250.

"The Cat Street" at 1250 is very impressive!

Langham place is very impressive in my view. Not for the ISO performance, but for the dynamic range. Its a day shot up top and a night shot down below. Both handled well. And at f2.8

Some new pictures have been added
. One of them demonstrates a very good exposure latitude @640Iso, another one is an impressive shot @3200 iso.

Am I the only one who doesn't see anything extraordinaire in the pictures taken with this camera?
No offense but really.

Why are you looking for extraordinary?
Most of us would be happy if the camera is merely competent - the magic must be supplied by the photographer.

Are you looking at the content of the photos? All the others here are talking about the technical quality I think. That's what's interesting at the moment.

Well i dont care of high iso, if it performs that well on evening shot at EI400 its good for me. Just a bit too wankers today with bits and dits that and this. Dont be jerking your gear, shoot some shots.

In "Day Seven" -- it's disconcerting to have only person in focus. But I suppose this is what happens when you shoot everything wide open, even when the circumstances call for otherwise.
The photos themselves seem very clean.
