Recent snapshots of Manhattan, all taken through a 40mm Summicron, on either a CL or Zeiss Ikon body. My favorite glass.

You've got some nice NYC shots here. Brought back some nostalgia as I used to live there.

On another note, I've mentioned it on RFF before, but I'll mention it again. The 40 Summicron-C is between a 35 Summicron III and IV; very close to IV IMO. The 40 was glued to my M4-2 for over a year (my only body at the time), but then I got the R3a so it naturally got glued over on that. I replaced the body cap of the M4-2 with a 35 Summicron IV and shot with both for quite some time. I can only say I now use the 40 Summicron-C more, but that could be from the fact that the R3a has AE and finally put on a hood to cut down on possible flare (only gripe along with odd threaded filter/hood).

Ah the Cron 40.
Sometimes I regret selling it for the Nokton 40.
Now i'm getting a 50 Cron so i'll be back into the Cron family.

Lovely shots from manhattan, it makes me oh so want to return!! lots of fantastic photos to be had.
