Hello,
For my first contribution, I wanted to start with a few pictures of the Big Apple. It is always a pleasure to take pictures there.
Mostly shot with my Bessa R3m and the Nokton 40mm. And the film stock was a (long) expired HP5+.

Central Park - The Reservoir

Chrysler Building

Brooklyn Bridge (aka THE postcard picture)

Classic Brooklyn view

Local train station

Sunbathers in Coney Island
The man in the buddhist robe stayed perfectly still for almost 20 minutes. I hoped he would step into the ray of light, but eventually he just left...

Grand Central again
(Very old Kodak film - expired 1990 or so if I remember well)

Jackson Pollock and admirers - MOMA

MOMA again
(I don't remember which film was used as I bought it on the spot)

Commuters in Grand Central
Shot with Horizon 202

Famous skyline on a misty night
Shot with Horizon 202
Voilà.
Please let me know if I did something not RFF compliant (in terms of picture hosting or size, etc.)

I enjoy your choice of camera positioning and your sense of timing. Very precise and very well done.

Thank you.
As for me, seeing pictures of NYC just makes me want to go back there.

Thanks for the post! That last shot has me nostalgic as hell, well done. I also like that second Brooklyn bridge shot, very classic.

These are great! I especially like The Postcard Picture you took on the bridge. I also like the last image, famous skyline on a misty night, very much.
I go back there in November to visit my daughter and hope to get some images as nice as yours.

Never got to Coney Island when was over there. I know it's not what it used to be but is it still worth a visit? Maybe one day I'll get there.

I don't know how Coney Island used to be, I am not a New-Yorker. All I can tell is that I enjoyed every visit there.
The beach of course, the amusement parks, the bars and restaurants, the walkway... It is really nice, busy and peaceful at the same time.
Thanks for all your comments. I must admit that NYC is a great subject and it is not that difficult to capture great images in such a fascinating city.
