I say the RF camera is a Leica III or IIIa, he does not seem to be at the age to buy a Tower 3 from Sears.
Lens is either a Summar or maybe a Summitar , I am leaning more to the Summar.

Always one of my first thoughts, as well. But, as nice looking as the clothes of that period were, I wouldn't want to wear them. So uncomfortable.

I like articles and stories like this, and was watching a story where a person researched aerial photos from WWI along the Western Front, and re-flying the identical route, and finding many features of war remaining today.
I was born in 1951, my mother dressed me more comfortably than those in the above picture.
