Hello Everyone,

When is the Toronto RFF meet...as I would like to attend...Looks like you all had fun at the REX!

I do not have a rangefinder....but hope that would not stop me from atternding

The lack of a rangefinder would hardly be noticed after a few rounds....just bring money and you'd be very welcome indeed. :D

Can I make a recommendation on possible dates? How about either the weekend that begins or ends the March break? I'll be heading up to pick up my daughter to bring her down for the week, or at least part of it. I could possibly combine the trip to fetch or return her with an RFF meet.

Of course, nearly every March break brings a freakin' blizzard, so there's always that to consider! :D

I am in Toronto from Feb 15 till March 3rd if possible during this time frame would be great.

speaking of.. I'm thinking of taking a trip to Toronto sometime this summer.. does anyone know any photographers or fly fishermen there?

neither ... just us RFFers. Though some of us might take pictures of flies now and then. :D

Brett: No doubt you'll post your plans here ... I'll make every effort make it up for a meetup. Gimme a fly fishing lesson! The Saugeen River, north of T.O. about 2 hours, is a good spot, from what I hear. I'm sure there are others, as well.

I'd be willing to go fly fishing with you Brett.. I haven't fished for years and never done fly fishing..

Trius' suggestion that the next Toronto RFF be in/around the March Break (whenever that is in March)

March sounds good. don't know when March break is though ... I seems to remember is varies from region to region and school board to school board.

I think March break is the same for all of Ontario, at least southern Ontario. It's the week of the 12th for my daughter, who is in Stratford.

A few years ago my kids had different March breaks and the break in York region (north of Toronto) was different from the one in Toronto.

Well York and T.O. just need to get their acts together!

So, forget about when March break occurs ... either the 11th or the 18th... how does that sound? I don't know my daughter's exact plans, except that she wants to come down here for at least part of the week, and we'll go to GEH while she's here.

Count me in as well, although I would prefer something a little later when the buds are burstin' and the birdies singin'....
Here we go, 30cm today & tomorrow.....can't complain though, it's been a great winter....

No date has been decided. Since I'm not local and can be there either weekend, I thought I'd leave it up to Dave, GeneW, Jan or others. But if someone wants me to pick the date, I could.
