It's a great lens- but it will have focus problems if used wide-open and close-up on a Contax standard camera. Stopped down, and at mid-distances you will be fine. So test it before using it for portraits or other close-up/wide-open applications with the Contax and R2C. Or get a Nikon RF. This lens is great on an S2.
