Anyone has examples of pictures taken with the Nikkor 50 1.4 S mount on an RDS? I have seen someone in my country using the Olympic 50 1.4 with this body and the guy was telling me he absolutely get very good results using that combo.

Here is a photo taken with the R2S and regular non-olympic Nikkor 50mm f1.4. Film is old Konica centuria.

Those were great shots and nice colors IMO. Th orion adapter is for S lens to any mount? 2K for an original Orion seems too much ....

The Orion is S to LTM (a C to LTM version also exists) and is the holy grail of these types of adapters. Hence the hefty price tag. Ebay seller amedeo offers S to LTM and S to M adapters from time to time for around $250 to $300.

I use my Millenium 50f1.4 (as well as a whole slew of other Nikkor 50f1.4's) on my Bessa R2S. Works fine!
I have a prototype of the current version of the Orion copy and use the 50f1.4's on various M's from time to time.
As stated before, lots of people use the Millenium 50 on RD1"s and M8 with no problems.
The Orion style adapters are easy to use and though they lack the "jewel" like construction and machining of the original, they work fine. Some lenses can be fiddly to mount (the 2006 SP 35f1.8 and for some reason, my 85f2 Nikkor). Most other lenses work fine on it.

Sorry R2S typo error.......

Hmmm .... I might have read the comment above, but I sure didn't read it properly

The Bessa R2S is a great little camera - an S-mount R2 :) I had no problems focusing a 5cm f1.4 lens or 8.5cm f2 lens on my R2S.
