Nikon CoolScan 2000 & Mac OS

I have a chance to buy Nikon CoolScan 2000 for $150. It's in the working condition, but the owner had trouble to use it with the Mac OS. I wonder it any of the members still using it or maybe had a previous experience with this scanner.
