Just a quick heads up - the CS9000 (and Nikon Scan) works for me in Windows 10 64 bit, at least when updating everything from Win 7.
It may need EMET (Enhanced Mitigation Toolset) tweaking if you want to write NEF files, that is, disabling DEP for Nikon Scan and all Nikon and NEF DLLs. It already did so when you enabled DEP on Win7, and that now seems to be opt-out rather than an option on Win10.
