I always thought that all non-metering finders fit F and F2 cameras interchangeably, but I found out that my F action finder will not mount on an F2. The bottom rear of the finder will not come close to fitting flush with the top of the finder opening on the F2 body.
Does anyone know if there is a way to modify the finder so that it will snap onto the F2 - without doing too much of a butcher job? I really like the view through it, especially with an F, G2 or H2 screen, but not enough to disfigure either finder or camera. 🙂
