I purchased some Nikon cassettes before being able to inspect them, and while they are fantastic - they do not fit in my F2. I do not foresee getting a Nikon RF camera any time soon, so they serve as nothing more than a novelty.
Is the general consensus that a Nikon RF, a Nikon AN-1 (F2 type), and a Leica IXMOO cassette are all roughly equivalent in value?

They are not of equal value. The most common is the Nikon F cassette which also works in the rangefinder Nikons. Next would be the Leica IXMOO which fits the M cameras and the screw mount cameras sort of. Least common would be the F2 cassette which is harder to find. Perhaps simpler to sell what you have here and keep looking for what you want. Good Luck. Joe
