Fellow RF users
I am interested in finding an adapter to use my Nikon S lenses on my Leica M (or if not possible my Sony A7S). I have seen various adapter to the Leica M which say they are only good for lenses longer than 50mm, but my main use would be for 50mm and some wide angle lenses (the 35mm Nikkor f1.8 I currently have, as well as the CV 25mm, some old Nikon 35mm pancake and, if I buy it, the old Nikkor 28mm f3.5).
I have seen some Contax to Leica (and sony) adapter which clim they are good for wide angle and 50mm - for example this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331235247869
But they are for Contax and not Nikon S lenses. Could I still use them or is there a better option?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

The focus throw difference between Contax and Nikon has more impact on long lenses - on wide angles it is mostly irrelevant, I use Nikon (CV) wides on my Contax all the time. You might want to stop down the 35/1.8 when using it close up, but that is the only limitation you'd face.

I'm not sure about Nikon-S to Sony-E, but for Nikon-S to Leica-M (or LTM), the thread linked above might help.
