Autofocus on my Nikon mount Sigma 50mm macro lens was causing all sorts of problems. The autofocus would go back and forth between skipping and jamming. Manually focusing with the lens, the jams continued.
I didn't document this fully, but here are some highlights from working on the lens for anyone interested. It was a relatively simple operation in the end:
