After a convoluted transaction I have ended up with a Nikonos 80mm f4 lens that was partially repaired, the repairer became ill and could no longer complete the assembly.

I'm looking for information, photos or diagrams that might help complete the assembly and confirm all the parts were returned to me.

I'm actually pretty close to having it back together, the lens unit slots into place in the housing, and focus and aperture are connected. The mount rotates on a narrow thread that I suspect can be used to collimate to infinity.

The roadblock currently is when assembled, the aperture won't quite open fully and seems to impinge on something in the housing. There's a metal piece inside the housing with 2 holes (not connected to anything, seems wrong?) and this piece rotates when the aperture is set. It may be impinging on the spring on the side of the lens unit. I have no idea what function the spring provides. 20240527_131921.jpg20240527_132051.jpg

Any information appreciated!
