I may buy a Nokton 40mm SC. Do I nead a hood for most of my shooting? I will shoot mostly out doors black and white in cloudy Vancouver( 9 months a year clouds) I prefer a small kit to throw in my pocket. Also, if I get the SC version and I need more contrast can I easily throw a filter on it. Is the SC a mistake for all around general shooting? ie: landscapes and people, or should I get the MC version? Thanks.
