A UK processing lab is offering 18mb and 50mb scans from this machine at what appears to be sensible prices. Noritsu quotes 4824x3533 pixels for a 6x4.5 neg to produce a 12"x18" print, but this doesn't tell me much.
I have been thinking of buying an Epson V700, but wonder if the Noritsu scans might be worth paying for for my better 6x6 images, as my old Epson 2450 is fine for prints of 8"x8" and proofs etc.
Does anyone have experience of this machine, either through owning one or using a lab that uses the machine? I'm not expecting quality to match the best drum scans, but I would hope to see better quality that the V700.
Any comments would be really helpful.
Thanks, one and all.
