Sadly, I've not been doing much shooting lately. Here are some of the highlights from the past few months (shot with the CV 40/1.4 and maybe the Canon 50/1.2). By all means, hit me with the criticism!
(Incidentally, I ran into another Ikon-using gentleman the other day. He was shooting an SW with, I believe, 21 and 25mm lenses. Was the first Ikon I've seen other than my own!)

I was hoping to start a discussion more about photos than gear. So please, say the photos are alright, say they suck, or post some of your own, but say something...

The last four are magic the cow and the musician seem static... I like.

Hey, thanks for speaking up!
The cow was one of a number of bovine sculptures that appeared in downtown Denver for a short while. I'd agree that the shot could have been a little more, shall we say, inspired. The musician is my brother on my living room sofa. He has a strong aversion to having his photo taken, so I was lucky to get that one (the fourth shot is also of him). And look closely--the guitar he's playing is a mailbox
Thanks again for your comments!
Cheers,
Jeremy

I like #5 - the hipshot of the runners. Did you also run taking your photo gear with you??

That was taken at "Race for the Cure," in which some people run, but thousands of people walk. We were among the walkers--there's no way I'd survive running several miles, with or without an Ikon hanging from my neck.

An SW?? My goodness they have sold one!
If you find yourself not shooting enough you should do what I do, buy an entire box of Era 100 film (400 rolls) and shoot one a day for at least 3 months. Gets the blood going.

I like photos 1-4 for the subjects and composition and good tonal range. 5 and 6 don't grab me at all content-wise.
Like Avotius I buy a ton of film and as it's paid for use it use it use it every day.

Yes, I can confirm that at least one SW has been sold. Well, I'm pretty sure anyway--I guess it could have been a demo
Shooting an entire roll of film per day sounds like a challenge! I did finish off two rolls this weekend, though; we'll see how they turn out in a week or so (gotta find time to get them down to the lab and then get the negatives scanned in).
Jon, thanks for your comments. Is there anything that would improve shots 5 and 6 or are they just not to your liking?
Cheers,
Jeremy
