Not the usual SLR

Yes, let's see the camera in question 😀

I've a Praktisix that has such poor spacing, I've added a red window, also a 6TL with pinholed shutters (was jammed, but I sorted that - it's a work in progress) and a Biometar 80 that needs the helicals re-cutting (Mmm, fun) and other lenses with no problems whatsoever.

When they work though, the results can be outstanding.

PS the Honda's not my cup of tea (coming from a fiercely pro-Rover household), but a good example of what a properly working Pentacon Six/Bio 80 setup is capable of.

Got a couple of P6TL with about anything from 30 to 300 and love it. Never any spacing issue. They need some TLC but apart from that they deliver.

I've got a P6 TL with various lenses, too. It's ugly but if it works it's great. Haven't shot a lot of MF lately, though. And I always prefer photos taken by cameras to photos taken of cameras.

The Zeiss Jena lenses I've used in P6 mount are very good lenses - particularly the Sonnar 180/2.8. Worth a try if you have the camera to use it on. It out-resolves my D300, so not too shabby.

I have a P6TL with a frame counter which stops counting at frame 6. My Kiev 6C feels. Bit flimsy but it works well. I fixed the frame spacing problems by setting it for 220 film. It's a monster of a camera, especially with the Zeiss 180/2.8 lens. The last time I used it I was stopped and questioned by the LIRR police while taking pictures at the Speonk station.

do you mean you fixed the 6C or the P6TL by setting it to 220 for frame spacing? that's my only complaint with my 6c is the sometimes uneven spacing. to combat it i usually give it an extra little nudge once i wind it out the whole way before letting it return to its regular position, but if i didn't have to it would be great.
