My cheap as chips [pun] John Lewis ex-dem virtually new NX1000 @ £150 with the additional pancake 24mm equivalent has become a sore point.
Frankly, I would never have considered it as serious CLC as I would have gone for an Olympus or Panasonic to complement the G1, but at the price of a small sensor compact....
It's just that it genuinely slips into my bag, so it's always there.
The maxim that the camera which is with you is the best, has hit home-hard.
The shorter zoom bothers me less that the dark screen in bright light, or the fact that it is Apple White, but it's fine for most snapshots.I also like the lens operated shutter/aperture switch,and ISO performance is acceptable.
But this was intended as a compact to complement my Sony A35/35mm.F1.7, not a replacement!
I have to make an effort to take the Sony with me.
