It was a great experience. I can't believe how Harlem has changed. I shot some pics and will post them in the Leica user gallery and post a link here soon. I also checked out the G1 and M8.2 at B and H since I was in the city. I'll pass on the G1 BUT that EV is really neat. It's just too flimsy, however when the HD version comes out I'll get it. My minidisc camcorder is due for an upgrade. I hope Leica adapts the new technology.
The covering for the M8.2 to me was the best thing about it. The paint job was nice also. All in all I'm glad I did the shutter and frame line upgrade instead and used the spare cash for the R-D1. I like the crank better than discreet shutter mode, but if I had the choice I would pay leica an inflated price to have as an upgrade. I all ready have a black dot and will order the same covering from camera leather. That will satisfy any future craving for the M8.2.
