Adobe's Lightroom is 50% off today.

Thanks for posting this. That's a very good price for some excellent software. I got Lightroom with my M9, and admittedly don't use it that much. But that is only because I have Photoshop, which I have upgraded and upgraded and upgraded since I got a deal on it in version 2.5 days. If I didn't have photoshop, I think a combination of Lightroom with Nik's Silver Efex Pro and Viveza would do me just fine.

That's a pretty good deal - I use LR 2 still and have no real "need" to go to LR 3 however, when I do, the upgrade price seems to be $99.

Got the Email this AM. I've considered changing from Aperture. I compared the two when they came out years ago, but relatively happy with Aperture and somewhat ignorant of what Lightroom provides and what I must give up in the transition to Lightroom.
