The end of May I sent two cameras off for service; the Bessa R2a I bought last fall developed a slight RF vertical misalignment so it went back to Photovillage and my Zorki 3m needed some light leaks fixed and I wanted new curtains so I sent that one to Eddy Smolov.
I emailed back and forth with both people about the work, the cost, turn around time, and mailing addresses--theirs and mine. And I included print outs of the correspondence in each box with the camera.
Wednesday 3 June, the first camera ( the Bessa ) was delivered. To my home in Cortland, not to me here in Raquette Lake where I had asked the camera to be returned. I finally got the camera Thursday this week: a friend was coming up to visit and I asked him to stop by my house and pick up the box. Not the worst thing that's ever happened and the cameras is fixed.
This afternoon, I got a phone call from my brother Erich to tell me I have a package there. It is the other camera. :bang: My brother Chance may be coming up for a visit next week end and if he does, he'll bring me the box then.
Are Rich Pinto and Eddy Smolov really the same guy?
A little exasperated today.
