Odd quirks

Just read that someone had trouble with the meter activation on the Leica CL. I'm sure I would have if I was lucky enough to have one. But it started me to thinking about the "characteristics" of some of the older cameras we all have used. Some have a switch to turn on the meter to stop down the lens, others have a double stroke to advance the film and cock the shutter. What are some of the other unusual issues you've uncovered in your photo journey. Open to cameras, enlargers, light meters, you get the idea.😕

The Moskva-5 (which I see you have the pleasure of owning). That button on the right is for opening the camera. It's the left one that trips the shutter. Nice to know that the sinister half (or is it quarter) of the photographic community gets their needs attended to.

All of my cameras share the same quirk in that they often produce crappy photos. I think it's something to do with the shutter opening.
